Keep in mind that you have download the right version, Mac OS .dmg files cannot be installed on Windows platform - and vice versa.

Step 1: Insert DVD disc to your DVD drive, and run the Brorsoft DVD Ripper. Click the DVD disc button to load your DVD. The DVD titles and chapters will be listed on the program within a few seconds.

Step 2: Click format bar and choose H.264 MP4 video from “Common Video” or “HD Video” category, which can be recognized by any devices well.

Step 3(Optional): And click Settings bar, you can adjust the level of compression to suit the quality you want.

Step 4: Press the “Convert” button to start copying DVD movies for SD Card.

Tip: The backed up DVD movie is usually saved as a directory file structure within which there are VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folder. The VIDEO_TS folder contains main movies (.vob) and lots of system files (.ifo and .bup).

Transfer the Video to Your SD Card

  • Insert the SD card into your reader.
  • Open the SD card's folder. In Windows XP and Vista, you will be given the option "Open the Folder to View Files" as soon as your computer recognizes the card.
  • Copy the video file to the SD card. You can either drag it from its current folder to the SD card's folder, or use the "copy" function in your operating system. Depending upon the size of the file and the speed of your computer, this can take up to an hour.
  • Make sure the file was transferred correctly. If the run time or size of the file on the SD card is different from that of the file on your hard drive, the transfer was unsuccessful.
